Shoalhaven One is sited next to the Manildra Group’s industrial facility, south of Sydney in Australia. Manildra Group is the nation’s largest ethanol producers.
The Algae.Tec enclosed modular technology captures carbon dioxide waste from power stations and manufacturing facilities, which feeds into the algae growth system.
The Algae.Tec algae photo-reactors take a carbon dioxide feed from the ethanol fermenters into the algae growth system.
Shoalhaven One was officially opened by the New South Wales Resources & Energy Minister Chris Hartcher. (See Press Release and Media Reports).
Third party validation is currently underway with leading inspection, verification, testing and certification services company SGS.
